Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be supporting a prestigious SME, based in Manchester, in their search for an Interim Finance Manager on a 3 month contract to cover some additional leave in the team. For the right individual, there might be the potential to go temp to perm. Key Responsibilities include:

Preparation of month-end and year-end accounts
Preparation of balance sheet and P&L reconciliations as required, journals and ledger maintenance.
Monthly reconciliation of the prepayments & accruals
In-depth checking of monthly accounts to ensure accuracy.
Producing monthly management accounts, including commentary & strategic review for Board level.

Key Skills/Experience include:

Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
A good understanding of VAT and tax matters.
Hands-on approach
Ability to prepare and report on financial reports & management accounts to a high level of detail
Sound knowledge of accounting software applications, e.g. Xero, Sage, Quickbooks

Hybrid working - 2 days per week in the office
